Mohawk College has been named one of the top 10 employers in Hamilton-Niagara. The competition, run by the editors of Canada’s Top 100 Employers, evaluates organizations based on eight criteria:
- physical workplace
- work atmosphere and social
- health
- financial and family benefits
- vacation and time off
- employee communications
- performance management training and skills development
- community involvement
Also recognized as top regional employers were Eaton Industries, Hamilton Health Sciences, Horizon Utilities, IKEA Canada Limited Partnership, Burlington, Niagara Casinos, Roxul Inc, Sodexo Canada Ltd., St. Joseph’s Healthcare and Stryker Canada.
